Our Sweet Chelsea.

Our Sweet Chelsea.

This is the English Setter that started it all for me, our adopted little girl "Duchess", my first heart dog.  She is shown with this sweet Irish lass named "Bridgette"  that we adopted shortly after Duchess.  This photo is from about 1978.

This is "Sierra" Random Winds Sierra Dawn JH from 1987, a few years after the loss of Duchess we went looking for another Eng Setter and I Met Lori Rimmer who blessed us with this girl.  Her love was doing fieldwork  and going camping.    This photo was taken at about 5mo old while she was resting from a day of training.  We lost her at just shy of 14 yrs old.

When we wanted a show dog  in 1988 we went back to Lori and this lovely blue bitch was my first Champion...meet " Madilyn" CH Random Winds Moonlighting.  She left us at age 13

This is my precious girl, my other heart dog and love of my life from back in 1989...meet "Angel" CH Santan Heaven Only Knows.  We were at a puppy party at Lori's and our friend Laura Reynolds brought over her litter for all to see.  I could not get this sweet little tri girl out of my mind, it seems neither could my husband Chuck.   Laura got the call  "I just got to have that tri girl", luckily she said yes!!   I lost her shortly after the June 2000 Nat'l our club (Inland Empire English Setter Club) hosted and she was not up to showing at it.  She passed in Oct. 2000.

This is one of the last photos taken of "Angel" at the 2000 Nat'l show site.  This photo was taken by reknowned sculptor Jim Goin who we contracted to do a bust of Angel and Jim took a roll of photos of every angle to capture her as he did the sculpture. Little did we know those photos would be the last.  Even though her body was failing her she still had that head that the judges raved about!

This is my favorite show photo of Angel, Judge Derek Raine told me she was one the lovliest tri's he had ever judged, I wasn't going to argue!  My Bitch Madilyn went RWB to Angel that day.

This lovely boy was"Lance" CH Crossroads Lynnin n Gold.  He finished with back-to-back majors thanks to my friend Laura Reynolds and Friend and breeder Greg Wilkerson, I just took him in for Breed.  He was bred to our girl "Chelsea" back in 1997 to produce the James Bond litter, we still have the "twins" (see photos on the "Meet the Kidds" page)

This is "william"; Crossroad Sweet William.  William passed over to the bridge just shy of his 12th Birthday.  He was the first dog Scott and bought together back in 1994 and he became my Mom's boy, best buddy and her protector.  He loved his people and would give you a smile.  He didn't like sharing his sofa with anyone; Oh, he'd let sit there and then just stare you down until you felt guilty and moved!  We miss you Silly Willie Boy!
